Our last day on the beach.

Happy 4th of July

We spent a wonderful sunny day on the beach.

Feeding the seagulls was always a hit.

We spent a few hours on the beach after dark watching fireworks in every direction. Their were people everywhere. The kids found some of the friends they had met to run around with.

This sand looks like a great place for a rest.

We went to the beach with some new friends to watch some fireworks.

Grams caught us lots of dragon flies.

They are so cool.

People were shooting off fireworks for hours. We went back down to the boardwalk and watched some more with Grams. Miles got tired and asked to go up and go to bed. I guess 2 hours of personal fireworks show was enough for him.

Beautiful sunny day!

Waves were calm today than they had been.

We took Grams crabbing.

Each of the kids caught one.

We even caught a baby with our hands and took turns holding him.

Jeremiah got brave holding them until he claims one bit his finger.

Thursday, July 1

The water had come a lot higher last night bringing the oil way up on shore. We played way back by the sand dunes.

Lexi liked to get fresh water from the hose instead of having to walk through the tar to get sea water.

The high tide made a shelf the kids enjoyed jumping off of.
