Helping Dad take down the old stairs

 The stairs to the top door of our house were falling down.  Since we didn't use that door often anymore, Troy decided to take them down.

 He had six little helping hands.

 Miles LOVES building and taking things apart so this was right up his alley!

 He helped long after everyone else was done.

 And together, he and Troy finished the job.



Capulin Volcano - July 21, 2011

On our way home from our Summer raod trip in July, we stopped at the Capulin Volcano National Monument.

The summer road trips I take with these three are amazing!

That's my girl, hiking in her flip flops.

At another stop, several hours later, we saw deer in the woods as we got our of the car.

We played a little hide and seek on this stop.

July 19, 2011 - Alligator Farm with Gammaw and Gampaw

 The day after we got to Shreveport form our beach adventure, Gammaw and Gampaw joined us at the alligator farm.

 We enjoyed looking at these animals.

 Watching the gators swim by.

 At the "petting zoo", it is easier to let the animals eat right out of your cup.

 Loving the time with Gammaw and Gampaw.

Lexi had been to the gator farm with Gampaw before so she went first holding the baby alligator so she could show her brothers how it is done.

I sure do love the time with my babies and with my folks! 

 I can't wait for Summer break 2012!
