Hawk Quest - September 12, 2011

 For our Cub Scout kickoff this year, we had Hawk Quest come and fly some big birds around.

Lexi was picked to come up and help out.

As he told the story of the mouse on her finger and had her concentrating so much on it, she had no idea this owl was making his way over for lunch.

While I didn't catch the best picture, it was pretty amazing how silent he was as he hovered over Lexi for the mouse that was on her finger.

What a cool experience!

 The bald eagle flying in the school gym was amazing!
