Mayflower Gulch

Our good friend and neighbor, Kelly invited me to go cross country skiing with her.

While it was beautiful and fun, it was hard work going up hill for a while.

But boy was that million dollar view worth all the work!

Thanks Kelly for taking me here, I loved it! And most of all, thanks for waiting for my slow butt to get up that mountain and warning people as I came back down!

Happy Valentine's Day

Miles took roses to his friend Kylie at their Valentine's Day party.

It might have been the sweetest thing I have ever seen!!

They were both so cute!

Smelling the flowers.

PJ day and a Valentine's party. Life is preschool is great!

Miles and Rowan passing out their Valentines.

Chocolate dipped strawberries!

Lexi's class party was the best class party I have been to yet. There are 52 2nd graders and they wanted to have their party all together. Their wonderful teachers planned a pancake breakfast Valentine's morning. They danced, played games, ate pancakes and fruit and just had a wonderful hour and a half just being kids.

Father/Daughter dance

Lexi was so excited when Troy asked her to the Father/Daughter dance. She wanted to wear Aunt Mimi's dress (cause she knew how much Daddy loves it) and she wanted her hair to be done all pretty.

They looked SO wonderful!!!

So is such a little Princess.

Troy was so proud to have her as his date!

Her hair turned out great, thanks to Rachel!

They had a wonderful time and danced the night away. Lexi still talks often about the Father/Daughter Dance and they both agreed this will be something they look forward to and cherish every year for years to come! I'm so glad thye can share this!

Basketball

Jeremiah played basketball this year.

Once he got the hang on catching and dribbling the ball he did pretty good.
Here he made his 1st shot! The entire team was so happy for him!!

And he was pretty proud too :)

Wacky Hair Day

Miles' preschool class had wacky hair day.

Rachel came over and helped Miles do his hair.

He was thrilled with how it turned out!

Happy 9th Birthday Jeremiah

On January 25, Jeremiah turned 9!

I can't believe it has been 9 years since we first knew how wonderful it felt to be a parent. To love someone so much and hope to give them the world. And how lucky we were to get the gift of such an amazing boy. Caring and gentle, just like his Dad. Fun loving and happy. Loves being a Scout and takes those values to heart. A great big brother and friend. A good student and fabulous snowboarder. Jeremiah, you amaze me every day!

Grandpa Mike and Kelly sent this big gift 2 weeks before Jeremiah's birthday so he could not wait to open it on his big day.

If only we could get into it......

Jeremiah requested a slumber party again this year.

He had 5 boys sleep over.

They played games and race track, opened presents, ate pizza and slept a little.

Happy Birthday big boy!

Wait a minute, are these those trick candles?
