Hiding Geocaches - August 13, 2011

On August 13, 2011 we set out to hide two geocaches.

One geocache was in honor of this little guy starting Kindergarten in a few weeks.

The other one was to be placed by Lexi as a goodbye to another fabulous Summer.

On our way to find a good spot.

Taking a little break by the pond.

These three are pretty amazing people and I'm one lucky lady to be called Mom by them!!!

 Summers in Colorado are amazing!

Miles ready to place his "View for Miles" geocache.

 He found the perfect spot.

Checking the coordinates of the placed Geocache.

This rock now belongs to him :)

Enjoying that view.

family shot

We could not be more proud of Miles as he starts his new adventure of school.

But sometimes we see, the bushes are still taller than our little guy.

And we will still be by his side along this journey.

Further along our hike we found this old cabin.

Miles loved it and wanted to move in.

Making sure this is a good geocache spot.

And it was the perfect spot, on a perfect day with my family in our mountains.

Scout Day at Coors Field

August 6, 2011
Colorado Rockies Scout Day

proud of his Scouts

heading onto the field

 This is SO cool!!!

We all loved walking around the field!

She was overwhelmed, in a great way!

No time to stop for a picture Mom!

 Taking it all in.

Pops was in the stands taking our picture!
Miles gave us high fives!

Lexi's 1st time on the field was a fabulous experience for her!

Not only does Scouts teach our kids some great values, it gives our family the opportunity to do some super special stuff!!!

Miles and Pops waiting for the game to begin.

Day on the lake with Uncle Bryan and Aunt Sarah

On August 2, 2011 we joined Uncle Bryan on Grand Lake.

Miles was the brave one that tried swimming first.

That water is pretty stinking cold!

 Where are we heading boys?

Chilling on the front on the boat with Uncle Bryan

Lexi thought jumping in was the way to go.

Apparently Miles was right, that water is cold!

 Super duper cold!

 Lexi loves her Aunt Sarah!

Checking out a bald eagle in the distance.

Pretty cool to see our Nation's bird out in the wild.

Jeremiah went for a brief swim too.

 Swimming with Uncle Bryan......

Or maybe ON Uncle Bryan is better!

Sweet day on the lake!!!
