1st day of school

Hard to believe...........3rd, 2nd and Preschool

Looking good, in new school clothes and backpacks!

Jeremiah and Lexi were thrilled for the 1st day of school. Miles has his big 1st day in 2 days.

Lexi with two friends from her class, Alex and Keaton.

Jeremiah's buddies, Koa and Timmy weren't as thrilled about school starting back. Thankfully he LOVES school and always goes with a smile on his face.

Leadville Train

The last day of Summer we met Gammaw and Gampaw in Leadville to ride the historic train.

Remembering the Summer, dreaming of the year ahead........................

Miles and Gammaw on the train.

This rail line from Leadville to Denver was a treacherous one through the mountains.

Wonderful views.

On the caboose.

Checking out the engine at the water tower stop.

Walking the track.

Loving life!!!!!!!!!

The train rocked one tired girl to sleep.

Goodbye Summer, I'm sad to see you go. I'm already planning your next arrival. I'm thankful for the joy you brought me, allowing me time to make everlasting memories with my family. See you in nine months!!

Hanging with my boys

The last Saturday before school started Aunt Sarah took Lexi to her 1st Bronco's game. While they were in Denver at the preseason game, we went to our favorite spot in Montezuma.

I believe I can fly......................

We all laughed a ton as Jeremiah tried to get a picture of us in the air. Most of the time, he caught only one of us up and the other on the ground. He thought it was funny that we jumped every time he told us to.

Enjoying the last moments of Summer with my boys. This was the most wonderful summer yet, with lots of traveling, family, exploring, laughing, sunshine and just being together. I'm SUPER sad it has to end, but I know they have wonderful things in store for them this year in school.

How does it work?

Our dryer stopped working. We went to Denver and picked out a new one to be delivered. We took the old one outside to clean the laundry room before the new one arrived. Miles and Jeremiah were asking questions about how the dryer works so Troy told them to take it apart and find out.

They took out every single screw.

Checking out all the parts.

Dad helped them get the heating element off and they discussed how it work.

"This big drum goes round and round."

Hopefully next time we have a dryer break, I can call on my handymen to fix it.

Keystone Eco Day

Gampaw asked if we would like to join he and Gammaw help out on Keystone Eco Day.

We put on our hard hats and headed up the trail we were to work on.

Digging trenches to help divert water off the trail.

Getting out all the rocks.

Even Gammaw and I got dirty.

But Dad and Jeremiah were the hardest workers in our group.

After a morning of hard work Smokey stopped by the picnic to thank us for helping out.

After the picnic we headed over the River Run for Keystone's Family Fun day.
