Pirates and Princesses

Our favorite place to eat breakfast is The Hangout in Gulf Shores.

They have a great Pirates and Princess interactive show and good food.

June 21, 2011 - Day 2 in Florida

Our 1st morning at the beach Miles came and woke us up at 8:00am all giggles and smiles.  He LOVES the beach and talks about it all year so he was super happy to be there.  Troy and I enjoyed his excitement as along as he would let us before getting up to get ready for our day. 

 We stopped at the pool for what would become our morning hair brush. 

A quick dip in the pool cools you down for the short walk to the beach and styles your hair nicely for the beach day ahead.

 I just love how they are hand in hand headed out to catch another wave.

 See the water flying from the bucket in Troy's hand?  Poor Lexi didn't see it coming and her little brother Miles didn't let her in on the trick Dad was playing.  One of my favorite things about Troy his his light heart.  He loves playing jokes on the kids and always has them laughing.

The beach!!!!!

We left Shreveport at 8:00am on Monday, June 20.  We are all SUPER excited to go to the beach and I was happy Troy was able to join in on the fun this leg of the drive. 

We arrived at the condo in Florida at 4:45.  The kids gave us 15 minutes to unload the car and find their bathing suits or they were going to the beach in their clothes. 

 We were super speedy and everyone went to the beach in their suits.

 The sand feels so nice on the toes.

 We saw tons of jelly fish so we didn't do much swimming.

Father's Day 2011

 We all got to spend Father's Day together since we were all still in town for Corrie and Garrett's wedding.  We went to lunch at East Ridge Country Club.

 One day these kids will realize how lucky they are to have such a wonderful father!  But for now they show their appreciation in kisses and smile.
