Day 3 of our Spring Break Adventure

Jeremiah got up and chopped wood for our morning fire.

It was 39 degrees out when we woke but no wind, so we were happy.

Troy and the kids dug in the sand while I cooked us a big bacon and egg breakfast.

Time for a little rock throwing in the Colorado River.

We stopped to check out the Indian Writing.
"Look Mom, there's more Alien writing!" - Miles

We went on a hike around a bird nature preserve.

Must have still been too cold for birds because we only saw a few.

Loving on Dad.

"I want to saw for 10 more days because Moab is so awesome!" - Miles

It warmed up a lot during the day.

These guys are crazy, making me walk along those thin walls.

When we returned to camp we had another surprise.

There were 10 full grow and 4 baby cows grazing. We hung out for a bit, watching the cows until they decided to go over the hill and allow us to get to our spot.

Jeremiah showing his brother and sister how it hit the target with his BB gun.

Jeremiah has helped Troy build a fire many times during our camping adventures but this time, Troy decided his young Scout could do it all by himself. Jeremiah built and lit the fire for dinner.

"I just lit my 1st fire!! Thank you Dad, that was fun, but a little bit hard." - Jeremiah

They were both pretty proud, as they should have been!!!
